More than just robots.

Magma Robotics, founded in 2008, and located in Honolulu, Hawaii, provides high school students from Oahu the opportunity to engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Our team members learn and apply engineering, design, computer science, mathematics, and various technical skills through competitive robotics.

Our team values engineering skills as much as the development of good character. We additionally offer our members the chance to partake in leadership roles and engage in opportunities to give back to the community.

For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, or simply FIRST®, is a non-profit organization that provides the opportunity to engage in robotics to youth of all ages across the world. Founded in 1989, FIRST®  operates several different competitions of varying types, including FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC), FIRST®  Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST®  Lego League.

Team Magma participates in FRC and FTC through our respective teams, and we abide by the principles of Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition, two key tenets of the FIRST®  vision. As a team member, upholding these principles is crucial to maintaining the safety and inclusivity of Team Magma and the robotics community as a whole.

Team Magma Robotics thanks the countless community members, parents, teachers, and students who offer their time and effort to help make our program truly remarkable.

We have a strong belief in uplifting STEM, Robotics, and our local community. Team Magma engages with our local community through a variety of outreach events, such as our STEM nights, cleanups, and robotics competitions.

Whether our communities support us through our many fundraisers or enroll their children in our fun-filled robotics academies, we are grateful for their belief in our cause.

Team Magma believes in learning and applying STEAM through our work, and we welcome any and all who are interested.
